Key responsibilities

In this role, you will develop innovative software solutions in the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) field and significantly drive the technical advancement of our products. As an experienced software developer, you will design architectures, implement complex functionalities, and ensure the highest software quality through clean code and modern development practices.

In addition to software development, you will assume technical leadership in MES projects, coordinate development teams, and be responsible for the successful implementation of technical solutions.

The work model for the role is: hybrid (#).

Your main tasks include:

• Independent development of MES software components using C++, C#, TypeScript, and React throughout the entire lifecycle – from architecture and implementation to commissioning.

• Design and implementation of scalable and maintainable software architectures using clean architecture principles and best practices.

• Full-stack development of backend services, database solutions based on SQL Server and Entity Framework, and modern, high-performance frontend applications.

• Implementation of DevOps and quality assurance measures through the establishment of CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, automated testing, code reviews, and adherence to cybersecurity standards.

• Assuming technical project responsibility through the management of development packages, sound architectural decisions, and technical coordination within the project team.

• Providing technical consulting to clients on the selection, customization, and integration of customer-specific software components into existing MES systems.

Qualifications for the role

• At least 5 years of experience in professional software development with demonstrable project success

• Excellent programming skills in C++ and C#, as well as solid experience in object-oriented software development

• Expertise in TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks (React or similar)

• Practical experience with Azure DevOps, Entity Framework, SQL Server, Node-RED, and Clean Architecture

• Sound knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and clean code principles

• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken

• Team-oriented work style and a passion for developing innovative software solutions
