The Energy Industries Division serves a wide range of industrial sectors, including hydrocarbons, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, power generation and water. With its integrated solutions that automate, digitalize and electrify operations, the Division is committed to supporting traditional industries in their efforts to decarbonize. The Division also supports the development, integration and scaling up of new and renewable energy models. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support engineering activities in all types of project sizes and complexities, under the supervision of senior engineers. Each day, you will complete
the tasks cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards,
safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. You will also showcase your
expertise by collecting data and supporting production of the engineering design.

ØEngineering and Design Support

·Performs basic survey work, standard automation engineering, analysis, and basic design tasks.

·Collect data and support engineering design production.

·Exercises judgement on limited details of work and on application of standard methods & prepare relevant documentation.

·Assists in preparing proposal / presentation of engineering projects / programs (provision of bills of materials, estimated engineering hours, etc.).

ØProcess Control and Application Development

·Work in graphic / application engineering development in DCS.

·Program, implement, test and document process control applications.

·Ability to understand control narratives, P&ID’s.

ØCollaboration and Communication

·Supporting communication pertaining to specific assignments in meetings.

·Participate in workshops related to engineering, design, tools and processes.

ØDocumentation and Judgment

·Exercises judgement on limited details of work and on application of standard methods & prepare relevant documentation.

·Assists in preparing proposal / presentation of engineering projects / programs (provision of bills of materials, estimated engineering hours, etc.).

Qualifications for the Role

• Educational Background

• Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Communications, Electrical Engineering.

• Professional Experience

• Control Systems Experience: 3–5 years of experience with control systems.

• ABB systems experience will be an advantage.

• Personal Attributes

• Must be a team player, self-motivated, quick learner, adaptable and flexible.

• Travel Flexibility

• Willingness to travel & work at sites as and when required.

• Willingness to travel domestic / overseas based on project need.

• This role is located & based in Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia
