Your role and responsibilities :

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product, and/or solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP). Each day, you will act as the first point of contact in Research and Development for specific product-related issues and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions.

This role is contributing to the Motion Business Drive Products Division in Bangalore, India

You will be mainly accountable for:

• As a Software Development Lead, you are responsible for delivering high quality software with your team in sync with project timeline & quality objectives.

• You will be responsible for understanding user requirements, analyzing requirements and guiding teams to develop high quality software as per existing standards, follow Definition of done (DOD), Definition of Ready (DOR), unit testing & creating project documentation.

• You will be responsible for playing the role of liaison between Project Manager, Product Owner & Team.

• You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in team. You will be responsible for defining day-to-day tasks, monitoring and technically help team members to accomplish target.

• You should be responsible for Software Architecture design, define scope of improvement, debug & RC analysis.

• You will be responsible for identifying technical debt, propose technical solutions in line with product & customer needs.

• You will be responsible for defining technical training requirements persistent to individual team members’ competency & product requirement.

• As a part of Scrum team, you are responsible to update project manager weekly update to achieve project milestones.

Qualifications for the role :

• B.E/B-Tech/ME/MTech in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation with 14 to 18 years of Software development experience with C#, .NET Framework, Microsoft WPF.

• Sound knowledge of C++, C#, .NET Core Framework, WPF, OOPs, LINQ, should have knowledge both in Windows PC tools development & Web development.

• Basic knowledge in PLC, Drive or any micro-controller-based device & knowledge about industry usage of the device is added advantage.

• Excellent debugging capabilities to understand existing code base, development standard, design patterns, identify improvement areas & bug.

• Must have exposure to agile software development methodologies, with good track record in delivery compliance with respect to time & quality requirements.

• Excellent in Understanding user requirements, analyzing requirements, code development following existing standards, follow Definition of done (DOD), Definition of Ready (DOR), unit testing & creating project documentation.

• Should be able to provide work estimates, follow mutually agreed schedule, provide regular updates in team meetings, and report to project manager/stakeholders.

• Must be curious to learn & investigate new options, courage to take step for improvements, collaborative & good team player.
