This Position reports to:
Channel Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Prepare technical proposals, compliance documents, quotations, and cost estimates for bids and revisions, including supplier evaluation and negotiation.

Ability to work independently handling front end sales and achieving sales target for ABB Drives and PLC offerings, coordinating with UAE and OC sales teams.

Handle assigned key accounts, drive new business opportunities, and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the sales
cycle. -
Technical Review & Compliance: Analyze customer requirements and specifications,
ensuring proposed solutions meet project/tender standards and compliance needs. -
Cross-Functional & cross countries Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams—
operations, trade compliance, product development—for smooth order execution and
custom solutions. -
Develop deep knowledge of ABB PLC and Drive portfolio; assist in customer meetings with technical presentations, demos, and guidance.

Address technical issues during the sales process, gather feedback for product enhancements, and share insights with development
teams. -
Support marketing initiatives by attending exhibitions, conferences, and contributing to technical content development.

Register RFQ & its details input in SFDC tool to track offering, when needed do risk review on offering in ABB RR portal
Qualifications for the role
- Engineering degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in LV electrical system & industrial automation projects engineering, estimation, and front-end sales activities for Drive and PLC products
- Solid knowledge of LV electrical system, Drive & PLC system design, selections
- Experience of handing independently key account management, Channel Partner and OEM sales
- Familiarity with sales processes and the ability to support the sales team, do sales activities in achieving sales targets.
- Solid technical understanding and experience in Applications like HVAC, pumping station, Energy Monitoring & Material handling etc
- using Drive & PLC products
- Experience working in multiple OEM/competitor Drive, PLC, RTU & SCADA products
- You are at ease communicating in English
