Your role and responsibilities

As a Senior Quality Specialist, you will support the deployment of the Quality strategy, including quality culture, systems and tools to achieve and even exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Assist the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems.

Collaborate with local functions that impact the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class level performance.

The work model for the role is hybrid. #LI- Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Critical Power, Smart Power division in Quartino, Switzerland.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Ensuring effective and efficient review of the local unit's Quality Management System in close collaboration with local functions, including processes and tools to ensure flawless, repeatable product introduction, manufacturing, and delivery of quality, service, or project execution, and the identification of gaps and potential for improvement.

• Utilizing the local Quality Management System to provide the local teams with procedures and documentation that sufficiently describe their work activities. Additionally you will be leading the execution of compliance audits/reviews, prepares audit reports summarizing findings, risks and recommendations, and communicating results to audited management.

• Working with sourcing team for the new supplier assessment and qualification, performing supplier Audits and actions follow-up. Furthermore you will be monitoring quality performance indicators (PPM-FPY-DPU-COQ).

• Establishing a structured approach to improve supplier’s quality by deploying Quality Wins concept in supplier’s organization and implementing PPAP supplier site and keep it updated.

Qualifications for the role

• Master's degree in Electronic, Mechanical or Management Engineering.

• 5+ years of professional experience in a similar role.

• Deep Knowledge of the ISO9001 standard.

• Experience working with data-driven analytical methodologies for industrial quality and with demanding customers.

• Strong approach to Continuous improvement and problem-solving.

• Good communication skills (written & verbal) in Italian/English.
