This Position reports to:

IS Security Lead:

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to successfully develop and implement security measures for ABB in your area of responsibility. Each day, you will protect ABB from rapidly escalating threats. You will also showcase your expertise by staying vigilant in combating security threats, taking charge of the organization’s cybersecurity, and keeping track of existing security infrastructure to ensure systems that protect vital information are secured.

This role is contributing to the Motion IS Security globally (Asia- Pacific).
You will be mainly accountable for:

• Responsible to drive security policy, standards, reporting & compliance requirements for all business distinct environments, example – R&D setup, Factory Operations Technology (OT) environment etc.

• Supporting Business IS Leadership Team to make risk-based decisions about strategic and tactical security issues. Additionally, help MO Business to incorporate security risk parameters into business decision making and planning.

• Support Business requests in Customer Security assessment requirements.

• Ensures process alignment and adaptation in Business, supports process establishment and security roadmap for Business distinct assets.

• Contribute to common Security processes and supports and performs maturity assessments/ self-assessments as required by ABB Security Risk & Compliance (SRC).

• Ensures that the Security Framework, policies, and standards are operating as intended across MO business.

• Support monitoring of key performance parameters (KPIs) and SLAs provided by Security Risk & Compliance services.

• Ensures availability and timely reporting on compliance of Business assets as per defined KPIs and reporting on factory assessments status/findings for defined area.

• Supports proper utilization and consumption of common services provided by Security Risk & Compliance services. Responsible to onboard to existing security services where applicable, to monitor and report non-compliance.

• Responsible to drive security awareness in the Business.

• Maintain a state of readiness in the Business supported by Security Risk & Compliance to be able to respond quickly and efficiently in case of multi-vectored incidents to minimize business and reputational impact.

• Builds strong relationship with key stakeholders in to support security activities

• Supports the Security Risk & Compliance Design and Roadmap, ensuring its alignment with other elements of Business IS.

• Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related qualification, and/or demonstrated capability through past employment experience

• 5+ years’ experience in Information Systems across Security, Application, and Infrastructure

• Very good knowledge of the following areas of technical expertise: information security management, business risk management, IT risk assessment and management, information security governance and organizational change management, IT financial management and IT audit

• Very good experience in IT audit risks, security risk assessment, assessing IT risk, designing IT controls, business process controls, general process controls.

• Very good experience in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Strong project management skills and experience in creating and managing project plans, including budgeting and resource allocation.

• An ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in an easily understood, authoritative, and actionable manner
