Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to help define and implement the marketing communications strategy for ABB PMA® cable protection, Ty‑Rap® cable ties, enclosures, connectivity solutions, and Medium Voltage product brands. You will lead the development of targeted communications that enhance brand assets and elevate the customer journey across key industries, including Rail, OEM, and Buildings. Your measurable contributions will support profitable growth in Europe.
This role is contributing to ABB Installation Products based in Milan, while serving customers in Europe.
- Creating, planning, and implementing the marketing communications strategies for the assigned area in accordance with the segment sales strategy and budget. Developing action plans to deliver the targets within timelines and within the budget.
- Identifying existing and new strategic channels for communications supporting the strategy/business plans for each opportunity and coordinating with the relevant teams for the assigned area.
- Developing and maintaining efficient marketing communications tools and implementing coordinated analyses and activities to ensure the global markets are well-monitored, including web site, YouTube and social channels.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining effective marketing communications material in the different channels.
- Ensures that the branding and messaging is harmonized across all ABB PMA platforms.

Qualifications for the role
- 10 years of experience in Marketing or Communications, supporting product portfolios or market information.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven track record of success in an industrial environment.
- Ability to demonstrate strong experience in Communications and help drive the organization to the next level.
- Solid knowledge of digital tools, including web design, content management, and analytics.
- Passionate about teamwork, with a proactive, hands‑on mentality.
- Strong fluency in English and confidence communicating at all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders; German fluency is a plus.
