This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive complete, accurate, and timely completion of accounting activities for the assigned area (e.g., reporting, consolidation, etc.) within the General Accounting (GA) team. Each day, you will ensure compliance with internal guidelines, procedures, and external regulatory requirements. You will also showcase your expertise by overseeing, reviewing, and/or supporting the month-end close process including account reconciliation, preparation of journal entries, balance sheet review, etc.

This role is contributing to the Finance Function in Bengaluru.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Overseeing the preparation of financial statements in the appropriate format to include in timely filings with regulatory agencies.

• Leading Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICoFR) compliance for specific areas (e.g., record- to-report, order-to-cash, etc.) to ensure that processes and controls are designed effectively and to address financial reporting.

• Performing analysis of accounts and highlighting any discrepancies/anomalies for correction and serving as an escalation point or subject matter expert for the resolution of accounting transactions and reporting questions.

• Ensuring transparency in financial reporting and disclosures.
  Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)-
  You are immersed in / engaged in / absorbed in / highly skilled in/ you enjoy working with GA Payroll Accounting team .

• Candidate should have a **minimum of 8+**years of experience in Payroll General Accounting.

• Candidate should have a very good leadership skills in monitoring and handling a teamof8-10 members.

• Problem resolving. Good Analytical skills, Management reporting knowledge.

• Should have knowledge in WORKDAY / SAP / S4HANA.

• Should have a very good knowledge in Payroll Statutory payments and Payroll accruals.

• Performing general accounting activities and recording financial transactions

• Conducting investigations and reconciliations of accounts as necessary for any discrepancies.

• Executing accounting analyses and reports in support of finance and business leaders.

• Producing reports, statement of accounts, reconciliations, statements of sourcing.

• Multi-Tasking performance.

• Ready to accept New Challenges.

• Should have experience in Payroll Transition Process.

• Handling month end book closing activities.

• Handling Audit Quires.

• Recommend changes of process standards and procedures to improve the timely performance of process activities. Identifying areas for process / report standardization across different countries.

• Flexible to work in any shifts.
