Job Description:
As Total Rewards Manager for India, you will be responsible to plan, organize and direct activities and policies under Total Rewards Center of Expertise for 3M’s legal entities in India. It is crucial for this position to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders (HR colleagues, Business leaders, supervisors).
The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As Total Rewards Manager for India, you will be responsible to plan, organize and direct activities and policies under Total Rewards Center of Expertise for 3M’s legal entities in India. It is crucial for this position to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders (HR colleagues, Business leaders & employees) In that role, you will:
- Be responsible to plan, organize and direct activities and policies under Total Rewards Center of Expertise for all legal entities in India.
- Responsible for the administration of our Compensation and Benefits package in India in accordance with the 3M’s compensation and benefits philosophy.
- Support processes to ensure benefits and compensation market competitiveness, such as annual compensation planning budget, benefits management, governance review and market pricing.
- Execute corporate strategies and deploy area/global projects under Total Rewards for India as required
- Responsible for setting, driving and executing the Wellness plans and agenda for India based on employee and leader expectations, in partnership with vendors.
- Responsible for execution of global 3M mobility policies and processes in India.
- Responsible for implementation of global M&A actions
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations
- Manage local vendors and ensure the attainment of services levels required for the operations.
- Strive for continuous optimization of compensation and benefits administration and employee experience improvement
- Partner with India HR team and business clients to understand employees and business needs.
What we are looking for
- University education /Master’s desired in Human Resources
- At least 12 + years of experience in listed organizations with experience in partnering with HR and Business teams with proven record of accomplishment. Experience in matrixed environments and experience in rewards is highly preferred /desirable.
- Analytical, self-motivated and solution-oriented mindset with demonstrated ability to take initiatives and drive improvements, working across functional boundaries.
- Knowledge of employment law, compensation & benefits policies and practices in India
- Proven track record of project management and collaboration within and outside of HR is essential.
- Effective communication and Client-focused mindset
- Proficiency using contemporary communication tools and computer skills. Recent experience in using Automation / AI tools for efficiency and effectiveness is desirable
