We are looking for a Senior Staff Software Development Engineer to our Zero Trust Exchange team. Reporting to the Director of Software Engineering, you'll be responsible for:

• Contributing to the design and implementation of major development project

• Stimulating problems born out of the scale of our deployment, and the stringent quality, performance, and security requirements of our product

• Working closely with our product managers and other teams to implement customer-impacting features

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• In-depth knowledge of Rust language

• Excellent programming skills, with experience writing very high-quality and** low-complexity** code with thorough documentation

• Strong experience writing easily-testable and** thoroughly-tested code** (e.g. using dependency injection with the right abstractions)

• Exposure using lower-level languages, such as C, C++

• Expertise in networking protocols(TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, H/3, proxying, etc.) with experience** debugging network-related problems**

• Good understanding of, and experience with, security protocols and standards

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• An understanding of how VPN technologies work, and the trade-offs between privacy, security, and anonymity

• Experience with kernel-mode programming is a plus
