Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Threat Researcher to join our Security Research Team. This is a hybrid role based in Bangalore, reporting to the Senior Director, Threat Intelligence. You’ll lead the charge in identifying zero-day vulnerabilities and crafting proof-of-concept exploits to protect our global user base. You will be a key player in our mission to enhance the world's largest cloud security platform through cutting-edge research and innovation.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

• Lead advanced vulnerability research projects to enhance our security solutions

• Conduct in-depth research to identify zero-day vulnerabilities in popular software applications

• Develop proof-of-concept exploits to demonstrate the potential impact of zero-day vulnerabilities

• Mentor and guide junior researchers to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation

• Document findings and provide detailed technical reports while representing the team at industry conferences

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• 5+ years of experience in vulnerability research and Windows Internals

• Significant experience with debuggers such as Win Dbg, Olly Dbg, or x64dbg and disassemblers like IDA Pro or Ghidra

• Proficiency in common software vulnerabilities and binary exploitation

• Experience building automated fuzzing tools to discover new vulnerabilities

• Proven track record of responsible disclosure with documented CVEs for Microsoft products and services

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Professional English writing skills with experience drafting technical blogs and reports

• Deep knowledge of Windows operating system internals including kernel architecture and related components

• Familiarity with Windows security features like ASLR, DEP, and Control Flow Guard alongside evasion techniques
