Operations Assoc Supervisor

The Operations Assoc Supervisor at Zimmer Biomet is responsible for leading Distribution Team Members and overseeing local warehouse and asset logistics operations. The Operations Associate Supervisor at Zimmer Biomet plays a pivotal role in leading and supporting the Distribution Team within a designated shift. This position is responsible for overseeing warehouse and asset/logistics operations, ensuring the highest standards of customer service, and implementing Lean Processes in line with corporate guidelines. The role involves direct management of team members, including recruitment, development, and performance management, as well as supporting cross-functional activities and asset operations. The supervisor is expected to maintain a collaborative team environment, report maintenance issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. What You Can Expect

Provide leadership for all Distribution Team Members within a department/site on an assigned shift. This position is responsible for overseeing the operations of the local warehouse activity along with the operations of the asset and logistics team. The Ops Associate Supervisor will assist in implementing Lean Processes as established per corporate guidelines and ensure that targets are met while maintaining the highest level of customer service possible. Must be able to perform some of the required management duties during Ops Manager’s absence.

How You'll Create Impact

• Provide leadership for Distribution team members within assigned group. May get supervisory experience managing a smaller team, including time, attendance and disciplinary records for each direct report.
• Responsible for recruitment, development, promotion and disciplinary actions of hourly Team Members on assigned shift with the support and guidance of Ops Manager as needed.
• Responsible for overall performance management for hourly Team Members, including preparing and delivering annual performance reviews.
• Assist with cross functional activities, acting as a primary contact with other divisions regarding Field Warehouse and other inventory matters for the assigned shift/department or site.
• Ensure appropriate training of employees to perform their assigned functions, including Quality and EHS standards.
• Provide support for asset and logistic teams
• Direct processes ensuring highest level of service.
• Report local building maintenance issues to Ops Manager for potential opportunities to upgrades and remodel.
