What You Can Expect

Ais and assist the Production Supervisor in establishing and maintaining a productive and efficient departmental operation through leadership-based functions. Must be able to cover for Supervisor during absence in driving production performance to plan and ensuring all Quality, GMP and Safety requirements are adhered to.

MSP and OTIF:

  • Oversees training and training matrix of shift
  • Supervisor cover
  • Support shift attaining target on all key metrics through the 1st Tier Production System
  • Strong verbal communication skills with ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees including production employees, management, and technical professionals
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing concepts and objectives and ability to lead Kaizen's and Lean initiatives on shift.
  • Proven Leadership skills with the demonstrated ability to be a role model for desired Zimmer behaviors.
  • Ability to lead and train people

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assisting the Production Supervisor in establishing and maintaining productive and efficient departmental operations through leadership-based functions.
  • Take ownership of covering for the Supervisor during absence to drive production performance and ensure adherence to quality, GMP, and safety requirements.
  • Play a key role in inventory management and act as the liaison between supply chain and operations.
  • Help drive innovation in expediting slow move batches and overseeing training within the shift.
  • Lead efforts to support shift attaining targets on all key metrics through the 1st Tier Production System.
  • Deliver high-quality leadership by overseeing the training matrix of shifts and serving as a supervisor cover.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to interact effectively with all levels of employees, including production employees, management, and technical professionals.
  • Lead Kaizen and Lean initiatives on shift and demonstrate strong verbal communication skills.
