As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work at the intersection of software engineering, medical imaging, and AI, collaborating closely with research and product teams to deliver robust, secure, and high-performance applications.
How You'll Create Impact
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions in a production environment primarily using C++, QT, and scripting languages.
- Contribute to software architecture, technical design, and technology selection.
- Build, package, and deploy software through automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with AI researchers to integrate machine learning models into production software.
- Work closely with Product, QA, UX, and Regulatory teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Deploy and optimize applications on dedicated Linux-based medical systems.

- Produce and maintain professional-level technical documentation covering architecture, implementation, deployment, and maintenance activities.

Your Background
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or Computer Science and 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent experience required.
- Experience developing and deploying software with Linux
- Proficiency in C++ 17 or newer
- Proven experience developing applications with Qt Framework (GUI, multithreading, Signals/Slots, custom widgets)
- Good working knowledge of Python and scripting languages
- Solid understanding of software architecture and object-oriented design
- Experience with Docker, Team City (or equivalent CI/CD platforms) and Git
- Experience writing automated unit and integration tests (e.g., Google Test)
- Strong debugging, performance optimization, and refactoring skills.
- Experience participating in code reviews and collaborative development workflows.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles for software systems.
- Familiarity with Secure Boot, TPM, secure key management, and Linux system security
Travels
- Willingness and flexibility to travel, within USA and France as required.
- The position is based in Salt Lake City, USA or in Strasbourg, France.
- Expected Compensation Range: 110K-138K$ plus bonus target
