As a Pricing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our pricing strategies, managing pricing systems and processes, and ensuring accuracy and consistency in pricing across Zimmer Biomet in EMEA focusing on the Italian Market. On a Daily Basis You Will Communication with Public Customers and Price Analysis
- Collect and organize Tender pricing documentation.
- Formalize deals with Public Customers ensuring compliance with Zimmer Biomet pricing policies.
- Manage price indexation activities for Public Customers, assessing contractual and tender provisions to identify opportunities for price increases in accordance with applicable regulations and contractual terms.
- Prepare and submit price indexation requests, coordinating with internal stakeholders and monitoring the approval process until completion
- Maintain accurate documentation of indexation requests, outcomes, and supporting evidence.
- Build effective relationships with Public Customers and internal teams to facilitate the successful execution of price indexation initiatives.
- Create dashboards of Pricing KPIs to measure pricing performance and instill a culture of analysis, learning and improvement
- Monitor sales data, run analyses, track changes in pricing data and quantify impact of price, volume and mix into price variances
Pricing Ops
- Maintain pricing conditions in SAP by creating new prices and implementing pricing adjustments.
- Manage Pricing Master Data, including data cleansing activities (obsolete, inactive, or restricted products) and validation of pricing inputs.
- Maintain and continuously improve pricing systems, tools, and processes to ensure accurate and efficient pricing execution.
- Monitor pricing-related processes in SAP, identify any issues or discrepancies, and resolve them efficiently
- Regularly review and update pricing information in the system, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all channels and platforms
- Ensure compliance with pricing policies, thresholds of pricing approval escalation process, legal requirements, and industry regulations
- Monitor and enforce pricing controls and procedures to prevent pricing errors
- Collaborate with other teams to define and implement pricing rules, guidelines, and procedures
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience in pricing-related operations, preferably within the Med Tech or healthcare industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal command of English.
- Experience working with SAP and pricing/configuration tools (e.g., CPQ) is considered a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with master data
