About the team

As a part of the Zillow Home Loans team, you will play an active role in providing best-in-class service to help customers achieve an optimal mortgage experience. As a Mortgage Production Assistant (MPA) Team Lead, you will assist in leading a team of coordinators responsible for pre-screening the incoming files to ensure their qualities meet our minimum submission requirements before they are underwritten. Your expertise will help lead your team to success and help deliver world class customer service to the Zillow customers.

About the role

• Help onboard and train new hires to the MPA team

• Provide daily support as needed to the MPA team

• Identify training opportunities for the MPA team

• Review, prepare and submit complete loan files for underwriting review

• Evaluate and determine if any documents are missing and what can be done to streamline the loan process

• Review necessary income, AUS, and other required credit and underwriting documentation

• Familiarize and operate in compliance with varies lending guidelines

• Communicate closely with Loan Officers to ensure loan submission are accurate and complete

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of customer and employee information, and ensure that team job performance meets compliance/regulatory requirements

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $27.60 - $44.00 hourly. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont the standard base pay range for this role is $26.20 - $41.80 hourly. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

• 1-2 years’ prior Mortgage experience for all loan types (Conventional, FHA, USDA, and VA) preferred

• Must have knowledge of Mortgage Terms

• Familiarity with Encompass (LOS) and Microsoft Office is a plus

• Shown success multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal

• Maintain confidentiality with private and sensitive information

• Available to work overtime as necessary

• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
