What you can look forward to as Material Planner (m/f/d):

• Plan, order, control, and coordinate production related materials to guarantee a 100%-uninterruptable supply with required materials to the assembly process.

• Plan and order material via SAP including MRP.

• Negotiate and follow up with suppliers on lead-time of delivery and freight to control inventory.

• Review MRP output and develop part purchasing schedules based on production requirements and associated activities and issue part purchasing schedules to suppliers to support a smooth operation.

• Manage inventory including parts scheduling, fill rates, inventory levels in line with the plant goals and perform associated reporting.

• Communicate with customer about forecast, investigation, ordering and information distribution.

• Responsible for initial expediting of production material into the plant in accordance with schedule parameters.

• Work with interfaces to develop and improve part planning methods and capacity utilization.

• Improve delivery performance inbound, inventory turn rates and logistics costs.

Your profile as Material Planner (m/f/d):

• Bachelor’s degree or similar education or equivalent professional experience

• Min. of 1-2 years of professional experience in supply chain or warehouse/material planning activities

• Automotive industry experience would an advantage, preferably in JIT/JIS environment

• SAP or another ERP system knowledge

• Materials Planning and Production Processing

• Cycle Count, Material Planning; TS 16949-Premium Freight would be beneficial

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Working proficiency in Hungarian and English
