The Jr. Associate Architect will work closely with the Associate Design and Sr. Design Manager with test fit and site plan coordination, prototype initiatives, and remodel programs to ensure alignment with brand standards, operational efficiency, and cost objectives. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and construction partners to deliver high-quality restaurant designs on time and within budget.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (preferred) or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in the restaurant space, construction documents, site planning, and/or prototype development.
- Proficiency in design software (SketchUp, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Monday, Smartsheet).
- Strong understanding of ADA compliance and brand standards.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across multiple departments.

Salary Range: $79,000 to $93,600 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits

• Site Development & Test Fit Layout
o Leads Architectural coordination for new restaurants, including reviewing and tracking test fits, feasibility reviews, and layout approvals.
o Track prototype/OFI updates and revisions for NROs, remodels and refresh programs, ensuring compliance with operational and ADA standards.
• Prototype & Strategic Initiatives
o Architectural planning for flagship concepts and kitchen prototypes, integrating operational requirements and brand aesthetics.
o Support strategic initiatives and system-wide refresh/remodel programs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Partner with Construction, Operations, IT and Marketing teams to align deliverables with business objectives.
o Coordinate with external vendors for millwork, signage, and equipment specifications.
o Review and track shop drawings.
• Project Oversight
o Track timelines for new builds and remodels, ensuring timely approvals and execution.
o Team coordination and planning for annual pipeline goals.
