As the Digital Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of KFC Africa's digital initiatives. You will own the planning and execution of the digital roadmap, ensuring on-time and on-standard releases across all markets. This role requires strong leadership and coordination skills to align goals, manage dependencies, and ensure a seamless delivery process. You will collaborate with various teams, including Channel Leads, Product Managers, and Brand representatives, to sequence backlog items and confirm market rollouts. Additionally, you will work closely with the Enablement Lead and Solution Architect to validate plans and ensure compliance with standards and non-functional requirements (NFRs).

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

SAFe/Agile and PRINCE2/PMP certifications are mandatory.

5-7+ years of experience in delivering digital products/projects in multi-vendor, multi-market environments.

Strong command of Agile/iterative delivery methodologies and practices, including planning, ceremonies, and metrics.

Working knowledge of NFRs and standards, and the ability to operationalize them in a digital context.

Proficiency in tooling, such as Jira, Confluence, test management, and release orchestration tools.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a track record of crisp risk and issue escalation.

Experience in coordinating multi-system cutovers and managing complex dependencies.

Ability to innovate and enhance delivery processes, with a focus on automation and efficiency.

Hybrid work environment experience, including cross-time-zone collaboration and occasional travel.

Own cross-squad delivery planning and execution for KFC Africa's digital portfolio.

Manage quarterly planning processes, including Big Room/PI planning, to create a realistic and integrated plan.

Conduct release management, including cut-over plans, entry/exit criteria, and runbooks, ensuring zero surprise deployments.

Maintain RAID governance by actively managing risk, assumption, issue, and dependency logs, with timely escalation.

Ensure quality gates and standards are met, verifying NFRs (security, privacy, performance, accessibility) before go-live.

Provide status reporting and communications, including weekly updates and steerco briefings, to keep stakeholders informed.

Coordinate with vendors and manage statements of work (SOWs), aligning deliverables, SLAs, and acceptance criteria.

Address vendor variances and delivery slippages, implementing remediation plans and leveraging contract levers.

Enhance delivery processes and tooling, introducing automation and improving efficiency in Jira and other tools.

Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
