  • As a Digital Analyst, you will play a crucial role in enhancing KFC Africa's digital presence and performance. Your primary focus will be to convert data into clear, actionable insights that align with the Channel Strategy and Digital & Technology (D+T) strategy. By building trusted dashboards, conducting thorough analyses, and powering experimentation, you will enable squads to make swift and confident decisions that drive adoption, conversion, repeat business, and profitability/ROI. Additionally, you will ensure event and data quality, consistent definitions, and compliance with privacy regulations.

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Science, Business, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4-6+ years of experience in digital/product/marketing analytics for consumer apps/e-commerce.

  • Proficiency in SQL and BI/visualization tools, with a strong understanding of event analytics platforms (e.g., GA4, Adobe, Amplitude).

  • Experience in A/B testing/experimentation, including design, power analysis, and incrementality concepts.

  • Familiarity with privacy and consent regulations (POPIA/GDPR) and data governance practices.

  • Excellent communication skills to simplify complex data insights for non-analysts.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including channel squads, vendors, and markets.

  • Experience with forecasting and scenario planning, projecting orders/revenue, and assessing sensitivity to price/fees.

  • Understanding of multi-market comparability and the ability to normalize definitions across different markets.

  • Willingness to enhance and create new analytics practices, automate reporting pipelines, and pilot improved behavioral analytics.

  • Develop self-serve dashboards and scorecards for squads and leadership, covering funnel, cohort, channel, campaign, and market views with standardized definitions.

  • Conduct deep-dive analyses and create insight packs to quantify opportunities (conversion, AOV, frequency, retention) and recommend prioritized actions.

  • Produce experiment read-outs with well-designed experiments, power checks, and incrementality/causality assessments; capture decision logs.

  • Maintain event and data quality by implementing a taxonomy, definitions, and alerts to ensure accurate, timely, and privacy-compliant tracking.

  • Provide forecasts and scenarios to inform roadmaps, promotional planning, and capacity decisions.

  • Analyze funnel and journey analytics to identify drops and estimate their value, recommending fixes to improve the customer journey.

  • Perform customer behavior analysis, building cohorts, RFM, pathing, and segmentation to uncover activation/retention drivers and churn risks.

  • Interpret attribution and incrementality data, distinguishing correlation from causation to make informed decisions.

  • Quantify the impact of offers and pricing on margin %, contribution profit, cannibalization, and frequency, flagging potential issues.

  • Monitor data quality and identity, detecting tracking gaps, duplicates, and schema drift, and maintaining a consistent taxonomy.
