What You'll Be Serving Up:
The Global Marketing Manager of Retail Strategy and Growth will play a pivotal role in defining, codifying, and syndicating best practices across Promotion, Pricing, and Menu. This role will focus on strengthening the company’s global retail discipline by identifying successful market executions, packaging them into actionable playbooks, and ensuring adoption through training, frameworks, and community engagement.
The role requires a data-driven and collaborative marketer who can connect insights, creativity, and commercial impact, bridging global strategy with in-market execution.
Here’s How You’ll Spice Things Up:
Define and Scale Retail Best Practice:
- Develop, evolve, and syndicate global best practice playbooks across Promotion, Pricing, and Menu as part of the Retail Growth Framework.
- Partner with the Global Innovation Team to ensure high-performing LTOs are captured, validated, and integrated into the Global SOBO Pantry.
- Develop global playbooks on key strategic workstreams to consolidate learnings and enable strong market adoption.
- Support the rollout of retail capability initiatives such as SOBO pantry and related training programs.
Data-Led Retail Strategy and Optimization:
- Leverage insights and analytics to drive adoption of data-led pricing actions across markets.
- Lead the development and validation of an optimal retail calendar construct to maximize incrementality and sales.
- Analyze retail performance and promotional effectiveness to identify success drivers, gaps, and opportunities.
Channel and Menu Strategy Development:
- Partner with the Food Innovation Team to contribute to the development, validation, and deployment of a modern menu vision for KFC.
- Develop a comprehensive channel strategy that integrates pricing, promotion, and menu design to drive maximum revenue and optimize customer experience.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to elevate the customer experience across all channels, ensuring a consistent and differentiated retail presence.
- Community, Collaboration, and Governance
- Build and maintain a strong global community of Regional Retail Leads, fostering collaboration, connection, and consistent application of retail principles.
- Facilitate quarterly connects and calendar reviews with key markets to share learnings, identify remedial actions, and track progress.
- Collate quarterly input for Yum! earnings releases and support visibility of retail performance at a global level.
- Tools, Content, and Knowledge Sharing
- Maintain and expand the SOBO Pantry (Brand Hub) - the central repository of retail case studies, assets, and frameworks.
- Continuously enhance the library with fresh, data-backed success stories and scalable retail examples.
- Communicate updates and success stories to drive engagement, awareness, and adoption across markets.
Key Success Metrics:
- Increased global adoption and application of Retail Growth Framework principles.
- Strengthened engagement and collaboration among Regional Retail Leads.
- Improved quality and breadth of retail best practice assets within the SOBO Pantry.
- Demonstrated business impact of retail initiatives through performance metrics and case studies.

What You Bring to the Table:
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline required.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
Experience & Capabilities:
- 8+ years of experience in Marketing, Brand, Retail, or Commercial Strategy roles.
- QSR or CPG experience preferred, with strong understanding of pricing, promotion, and menu fundamentals.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with experience leveraging insights to drive business decisions.
- Proven ability to build business cases, influence stakeholders, and secure buy-in for strategic initiatives.
- Excellent project management skills and a strong bias for action.
- Skilled in representing the voice of the customer and translating insights into commercial and marketing strategies.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable operating in a global matrix.

Salary Range: $125,000 – 140,000 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
