The Role

As a Software Engineer at Byte Commerce platform, you'll have the opportunity to be part of one of several exciting streams of work. Help build out a design system that caters to a world-wide audience and reduces the time to iterate on new features and ideas. You’ll play an integral part in the build of a new e-commerce platform using new technologies, platforms and partners like GraphQL, NestJS, React, React Native, Contentful & AWS. Design and present new initiatives, software and architecture & design patterns to your peers and get the support to your creations through to fruition. Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in large-scale React

JS and React Native applications:

• Ability to lead a small team of 3

• Proficiency in NodeJS/Typescript

• Proficiency in Redux, Redux-Saga, and Expo

• Experience with OAuth, JWT, Cognito, and secure microservices integration

• Strong spoken and written English for international collaboration

• Product ownership mindset, continuous improvement, and industry awareness

• Ability to guide junior engineers, foster knowledge sharing, and support Agile collaboration

• Hands-on experience with Nx for monorepo management

• Experience with E2E testing and automation test

Nice to Have:

• Experience with GraphQL and micro frontend architecture.

• Familiarity with Contentful or other headless CMS platforms..

• Prior experience in e-commerce or high-traffic consumer platforms

• Experience with Datadog and real-time error tracking

• Experience with AWS, Terraform, CI/CD (e.g., CircleCI), automated deployments, environment configuration, and cloud infrastructure

Location: Waseco building, 10 Pho Quang, ward 2, Tan Binh district, HCM city

This position is available exclusively to candidates located in Vietnam. Relocation support is not provided, and applicants must be currently residing in Vietnam to be considered.

• Design and develop high-performance and scalable applications using React and React Native, ensuring a seamless user experience on web, iOS, and Android

• Ensure adequate unit test coverage and code maintainability

• Write unit or end-to-end tests as appropriate to ensure your code will keep working as expected, help maintain conformance to code linting rules

• Help peer review code written by your teammates and work with others to improve our code quality together

• Help us support our platforms in production and troubleshoot any production issues

• Optimize code and implement best practices to enhance overall application performance

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment
