  • The Digital Customer Insights and Analytics Lead will spearhead KFC Africa's digital transformation, turning data into actionable insights that accelerate growth and enhance customer experience across all digital channels and markets. Working closely with channel squads, CRM, and market stakeholders, this role will define key performance indicators, establish data quality standards, and ensure a single source of truth. The successful candidate will build self-serve dashboards, automate readouts, and establish an experimentation engine to drive measurable uplift. They will also partner with CRM to deploy actionable segments and offer policies that improve retention, frequency, and LTV.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

  • 8-10+ years of experience in analytics/data/measurement, with 3+ years of team leadership.

  • Expertise in product & marketing analytics, experimentation design, and SQL/BI.

  • Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).

  • Proven track record in setting KPI frameworks and improving data quality.

  • Strong stakeholder influence and vendor/tooling management skills.

  • Experience in consumer digital/e-commerce is essential.

  • Knowledge of MMM/MTA concepts and causal inference basics.

  • Ability to work across multiple African markets is preferred.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Define KPI framework, shared definitions, and data quality standards.

  • Build self-serve dashboards and automated readouts for rapid insights.

  • Establish an experimentation engine with A/B, hold-out, and geo tests.

  • Partner with CRM to deploy actionable segments and next-best-actions.

  • Provide ROI/payback modeling and forecasting for product and marketing bets.

  • Conduct cohort/RFM/pathing analyses to identify retention drivers and churn risks.

  • Define and publish weekly/monthly scorecards with automated alerts and actions.

  • Reconcile attribution and incrementality with controlled experiments.

  • Identify and quantify drops in the acquisition-to-fulfilment funnel.

  • Standardize definitions across markets while accommodating local nuances.
