The Category Lead will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the strategic vision for the Packaging & Beverages category within the BMU Supply Chain Management department. This position will lead a team of regional category managers, ensuring effective implementation of strategies and plans. The scope of this role is extensive, covering the entire BU Africa region and all Yum! brands.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial/Business/Logistics/SCM/Procurement, or a related field.5+ years of experience in senior supply chain roles, preferably in the food industry.

5+ years of experience in regional/BU strategic category management or procurement.

Advanced commercial acumen with a proven track record of value creation.

Strong analytical skills and expertise in cost modeling for data-driven decision-making.

In-depth knowledge of the Packaging & Beverages category.

Exceptional strategic leadership abilities, with a history of leading enterprise-wide change.

Ability to influence and lead teams across multiple countries.

Partner with global and regional supply chain teams to align category strategies with broader business needs.

Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships, positioning Yum as a customer of choice.

Manage potential category risks and ensure business continuity plans are in place.
