The Manager, Digital Brand Data plays a critical role in operationalizing the organization’s brand data strategy with a strong emphasis on CRM, marketing technology, and customer-centric activation. This role ensures customer and brand data is structured, integrated, and activation-ready across marketing platforms to support lifecycle marketing, personalization, and growth initiatives grounded in how customers actually behave and make decisions.
This position serves as a key connector between business needs and execution, partnering closely with Marketing Technology, CRM, Analytics, and IT teams to translate prioritized data use cases into scalable, executable solutions. A strong understanding of digital psychology and marketing principles is essential, as this role helps shape how data is used to influence customer behavior, improve engagement, and drive meaningful outcomes across channels.
In addition to execution leadership, the Manager provides hands-on guidance to Senior Analysts, helping build data solutions that support segmentation, journey orchestration, and personalization strategies informed by customer intent, motivation, and behavioral signals—not just static attributes or reporting needs.
Success in this role requires the ability to blend marketing acumen, data fluency, and technical collaboration, ensuring data initiatives are designed with both human behavior and platform execution in mind.
How You'll Shine:
CRM, Mar Tech & Activation Enablement
- Partner with CRM and Marketing Technology teams to ensure customer and brand data is properly integrated, structured, and activation-ready across platforms.
- Support data designs that enable segmentation, personalization, journey orchestration, and lifecycle marketing.
- Ensure data solutions support real-world marketing execution across email, web, paid media, and emerging channels.
Use Case Development & Execution
- Support the development and execution of data-driven marketing use cases, grounded in customer behavior and marketing objectives.
- Translate business and lifecycle needs into clear execution requirements, timelines, and success metrics.
- Partner with stakeholders to move initiatives from concept → implementation → adoption.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing Technology, Analytics, and IT to execute data initiatives.
- Coordinate dependencies and resources required to deliver data products, integrations, and enhancements**.**
- Identify execution risks and proactively drive resolution.
Marketing & Behavioral Insight Application
- Apply principles of digital psychology and marketing behavior to help shape how data is leveraged to influence engagement and conversion.
- Support the use of behavioral signals, intent data, and lifecycle moments to inform targeting and personalization strategies.
- Partner with marketing teams to ensure data is used in ways that meaningfully impact customer experience and outcomes.
Team Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Provide day-to-day prioritization and guidance to Senior Analysts.
- Help establish standards, documentation, and best practices for CRM and Mar Tech-related data use.
- Identify skill gaps and improvement opportunities across tools, processes, and execution.
Travel Requirements
- Moderate travel – 10% Includes travel to agencies and corporate office locations as well as some attendance of conferences to stay abreast of trends in the marketplace and visits to our digital partners.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
- Advanced degree a plus
- Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals and customer behavior.
- Ability to translate strategy into executable plans.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Experience working with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot, Braze, Adobe, or similar).
- Experience supporting Marketing Technology ecosystems (ESP, CDP, automation platforms).
- Understanding of customer data models, identity resolution, and segmentation logic.
- Familiarity with data governance, consent, and privacy considerations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
- 6–8 years of experience in CRM, Mar Tech, marketing operations, or data-focused roles.
- Hands-on experience supporting lifecycle marketing, personalization, or customer engagement initiatives.
- Experience working closely with IT and analytics teams.
- Travel, hospitality, or consumer brand experience a plus.
Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
