PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (Include but not limited to:)

• Posting of journals in a timely and accurate manner.
• Prepare and post monthly accrual and prepaid expense journals.
• Posting of intercompany journals and reconciling intercompany trade accounts.
• Preparation and posting of general journals and resolution of queries from stakeholders.
• Completion of tasks assigned in month end accounting checklist.
• Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis.
• Reconciliation of bank accounts.
• Identify any area of weakness in controls and recommend/take action.
• Perform additional tasks as requested from time to time.
• Display innovation through inspiring, creating and improving processes and products.

KEY POSITION CRITERIA:

• 3-5 years significant years of experience in similar role
• Current exposure Australian and GAAP Accounting Standards is an advantage
• Skills to research relevant areas of general accounting
• High sense of urgency and deadline driven
• Above average excel skills
• Exposure to a multi-currency environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
