About the Team

This role sits within our APAC Solution Consulting organization. The Solution Consulting team at Workday is a highly valued function and is a key ingredient of the customer wins and successes we have had in the market.

About the Role

As an Enterprise Architect in Solution Consulting team, you play a strategic role throughout our clients’ software evaluation process.

Key functions of this role are to demonstrate the unique architecture and delivery model of Workday solutions, to highlight the advantages of our product architecture over legacy HCM/Financial systems and other SaaS systems, and to address technical and compliance requirements throughout the entire sales cycle.  And at the same time, the role needs to deliver impactful presentations to business users in HR or Finance team by providing them with a high-level overview of the value of Workday solutions architecture.

You will actively contribute to advanced/new technology discussions including SaaS, AI/ML, App development, AI agent integration, enterprise integration, global security and the next wave of innovative tech, representing disruptive technology in a large addressable market and challenging the industry status quo, and supporting all industry verticals, providing a rich and multifaceted experience. Understand and communicate the security, privacy, performance and support aspects of our SaaS offering to the clients.

Through all these engagements, your aim is to successfully drive adoption of Software as a Service (SaaS) to both technical and non-technical audiences.

About You

You are passionate about working in a high-growth organization and believe that Workday has the solutions to help organisations advance and grow!

A technology SME with a strong combination of technical expertise on design principles, technical architecture, platform architecture, cloud connectivity and security as well as outstanding presentation skill.

Have worked as software presales for 3 years with the below expertise:

• Software as a Service work experience and/or knowledge of SaaS delivery models and associated characteristics

• Application development using PaaS

• Experience with AI technologies

• Familiar with ML, Gen

AI and Agentic AI development:

• Machine Learning landscape and its applicability to packaged enterprise applications

• Integration design patterns from flat files, API to MCP

• Comprehensive security background covering encryption technologies, network architectures, communications security, LDAP, SAML and application level access methods

• Data analytics in discovering insights and drive next step actions

• Experience with prospect/customer architecture and IT risk governance models and processes

Other Qualifications

• Preferably comes with SaaS business application knowledge

• Language: Fluent in written and spoken English

• Language: Fluent in spoken Chinese or Vietnamese

• You love technology and enjoy learning new skill; Putting on an innovative hat in everything you do and never stop injecting creativity to your presentations to make them exciting and engaging!
