Due to continued and rapid growth, we’re on the hunt for a Senior Analytics Manager to join us in Treasury, leading the analytics function in our Ledger and Safeguarding teams. The role is located in Shoreditch, London. What you’ll be doing: - Leading a team of 3+ analysts responsible for - Curating datasets, surfacing metrics, sizing opportunities, and deep dive analysis - Building and maintaining critical data pipelines and dashboards - Performing data reconciliations, hunting down and explaining discrepancies, and building controls to automate these - Liaising with FX, Liquidity and Operations teams to understand how to improve your teams’ processes to achieve lower costs and risks and these areas - You’ll be expected to help stakeholders shape and understand what they want and need, and to help the team shape their work to fit that need - You’ll be hands on with your team, leading by example and demonstrating best practice Who you are: - 5+ years experience as an analyst or analytics engineer and 1+ years leading others (can be overlapping) - Strong analytical ability - Mathematical background with a solid grounding in statistics - Advanced SQL - Python/R - Able to write clean code, build efficient data pipelines, and coach these behaviours in others - Proven stakeholder management skills - Demonstration of impact/going above and beyond basic role requirements Desirable: - Familiarity with DBT - Data modelling in a warehouse context - Experience working in a highly-regulated and audited environment - Experience working with Financial data and ledgers Some important stuff we would like you to know To meet our regulatory obligations as a licensed financial services company, Wise needs to conduct background checks on all new hires, which in the Finance team includes Criminal and Credit checks.
