We’re looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our team in São Paulo. In this role, you will play a key part in fostering a seamless, person-focused experience across the employee lifecycle. You will support our team of Wisers to do their best work, primarily focusing on the Brazil market while helping us expand into new markets like Mexico and Chile. You will help realize our Global People Operations vision: providing fast, convenient, and transparent support powered by smart technology and human expertise. As your operational knowledge grows, so will your impact. You will navigate typical operational challenges by thinking creatively and looking beyond standard processes to find effective solutions. Your expertise will be a cornerstone of cross-team projects, ensuring operational excellence and contributing to the success of the broader Americas region. Key Responsibilities - Service Excellence: Support the People team’s ticketing desk with a collaborative, "one-team" mentality, responding to queries efficiently and thoughtfully. - Lifecycle Management: Coordinate Workday actions, internal transfers, and relocation requests, ensuring all onboarding and offboarding steps are completed accurately. - Policy Guidance: Provide clear guidance on leave policies and resolve complex international remote working requests through our "Mobile Wiser" initiative. - Compliance & Documentation: Oversee immigration processes and prepare employment documentation, including reference letters and contract changes. - Payroll Partnership: Collaborate with the Payroll team to provide necessary documentation for new hires, benefits, and departures. - Knowledge Sharing: Maintain clear and accessible content on Confluence, ensuring both global and local information is kept up to date. - Mentorship & Quality: Guide and cross-train team members, participating in "four-eye" reviews to ensure collective accuracy and high standards. - Operational Compliance: Manage audit requests to maintain rigorous compliance standards. - Project Delivery: Contribute to local and global initiatives, leveraging technology and automation to improve workflows. - Legal Awareness: Stay informed on local employment laws and update internal processes to ensure continued compliance. - Growth & Flexibility: Embrace opportunities to contribute beyond your core remit to support the team’s success and your own professional development. ## Qualifications A bit about you: - Experience: experience working in a shared services environment or a People team. - Mindset: A positive, can-do attitude with a strong growth mindset and resilience for a hyper-growth environment. - Technical Interest: Passion for data and technology, with a desire to embrace automation. - Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. - Attention to Detail: Eagle-eyed attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information professionally. - Problem Solver: Adaptable and solution-focused, with the ability to sequence tasks by priority and impact. - Collaborator: Self-aware and trustworthy, enabling seamless collaboration within and across teams ## Additional Information For everyone, everywhere.
