1.Expert level knowledge of Linux/UNIX (Nice to have AIX/Solaris) AND Ansible Automation

2.Experience on RHEL Administration.

4.Some exposure to Net Backup / Commvault infrastructure. (Nice to have )

In this role, you will:

• Carry out daily BAU activities for the project.

• Should understand & have proven record of how technology adds value to the business and ultimately the end customer.

• Working across cultures.

• Consolidate and reduce infrastructure complexity.

• Ensure Service Quality Targets are met for offered services.

• Setup automation(s) to take out waste.

• Identify and work on initiatives for process efficiency and service improvement projects to achieve efficiencies.

• Drive process improvements and cost efficiency initiatives.

• Ensure review within a team for all critical/complex deliverables.

• Interact with application teams and other infrastructure teams.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• 8 years of experience in UNIX infrastructure.

• Expert level knowledge and experience of UNIX /Linux. (Nice to have Aix/Solaris Experience)

• Strong knowledge on Server Builds and Kickstart configurations.

• Expert level knowledge and experience on Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas Cluster Server and basic understanding of Veritas Net Backup and Commvault Infrastructure.

• Strong experience on server patching, VCS patching and remediating vulnerabilities.

• Some good experience on Ansible Automation.

• Strong knowledge of host-based SAN migrations.

• Should have the understanding about the SNMP traps.

• Very good understanding of SAN configuration EMC/Hitachi LUNs on Linux/UNIX (AIX/Solaris/) servers

• Ability to develop simple/complex shell scripts as per requirements.

• Ability of support DR tests.

• Effective in dealing with complex Tasks/Issues for business-critical services.

• Experience on Ticketing tools like Service Now, Jira etc.

• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.

• Should possess industry standard certifications for UNIX/Cluster Technologies.

• Should be well versed with ITIL concepts and more specific understanding of Service operations activities.

Mandatory Skills: Elastic AIOPS .
