Technical Architect

Role Purpose

To ensure success as a technical architect, you should have extensive knowledge of enterprise networking systems, advanced problem-solving skills, and the ability to project manage. A top-class technical architect can design and implement any size system to perfectly meet the needs of the client.

Responsibilities

• Meet with IT management to determine current and future technology needs
• Determine whether current systems can be upgraded or if new systems need to be installed
• Provide design ideas and schematics to stakeholders
• Project manage the design and implementation of systems
• Meet with software developers to discuss system software requirements
• Troubleshoot system issues as they arise
• Oversee all components of system integration
• Measure performance of upgraded or newly installed systems
• Train staff on system procedures
• Provide post-installation feedback and recommendations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
• 8-10 years of previous work experience as a technical architect
• Managerial experience

Required Skills & Knowledge

• In-depth knowledge of enterprise systems, networking modules, and software integration
• Knowledge of computer hardware and networking systems
• Familiarity with programming languages, operating systems, and Office software
• Spring Boot (mandatory)
• Advanced project management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to translate basic specifications into big-picture system designs
• Strong problem-solving skills for complex IT issues
