DevOps Engineer

Role Purpose

Work with Application teams and developers to facilitate better coordination amongst operations, development and testing functions by automating and streamlining the integration and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities

Dev

Ops Pipeline & Infrastructure:

• Align and focus on continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) of technology in applications
• Plan and execute the DevOps pipeline that supports the application life cycle across the DevOps toolchain — from planning, coding and building, testing, staging, release, configuration and monitoring
• Manage IT infrastructure according to the requirements of supported software code
• On-board applications on DevOps tools and configure them per client needs
• Build and engineer DevOps tools according to client customization requirements

Development & Automation

• Collaborate with development staff on coding and scripting needed to connect code elements to operating systems and production infrastructure
• Leverage tools to automate testing and deployment in a DevOps environment
• Create user access workflows and provide user access according to defined processes

Customer Support

• Provide timely support to internal and external customers on multiple platforms
• Resolve tickets within specified TAT with zero escalations
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of critical and repeatable issues
• Ensure adequate resolution and customer satisfaction

Requirements

Experience: 3-5 years
