Data Engineer

Role Purpose

Interpret data and transform it into actionable information through reports, dashboards, and interactive visualizations to drive business decisions and improve organizational outcomes.

Responsibilities

Technical Project Management

• Manage technical scope of projects in alignment with requirements across all stages
• Gather information from data warehouses, databases, data integration and modeling sources to identify patterns and trends
• Develop record management processes and policies
• Build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels and understand their requirements
• Provide sales data, proposals, data insights, and account reviews to clients
• Identify areas for process efficiency and automation improvements
• Set up and maintain automated data processes
• Evaluate and implement external services and tools for data validation and cleansing
• Produce and track key performance indicators

Data Analysis

• Liaise with internal and external clients to understand data content
• Design and execute surveys, analyzing results per customer requirements
• Analyze and interpret complex datasets related to customer business needs and prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics tools
• Create data dashboards, graphs, and visualizations to showcase business performance and provide sector and competitor benchmarking
• Mine and analyze large datasets, draw valid inferences, and present findings to management
• Develop predictive models and share insights with clients
