Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications which needs to be deployed at a client end and ensure its meet 100% quality assurance parameters

1. VB.NET, C# and SQL

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery, support, and transformation of insurance domain applications (e.g., policy administration, unit pricing, claims, billing, and finance systems).
• Act as the technical owner and SME for core applications, driving architecture decisions, modernization, and optimization initiatives.
• Design and oversee development of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using VB.NET (Windows Forms, Console Apps) with focus on enterprise-grade standards.
• Own and govern SQL Server environments, including performance tuning, high availability, backup/recovery strategies, and cloud integration (AWS S3, RDS).
• Provide technical leadership for production support, ensuring stability, proactive monitoring, and RCA-driven improvements across systems.
• Oversee and optimize batch processing frameworks including Windows Scheduled Tasks and SQL Server Agent Jobs.
• Drive modernization and rationalization of legacy systems (VBScript, MS Access, Excel VBA), with a roadmap toward scalable platforms.
• Collaborate with business, actuarial, and finance stakeholders to ensure insurance-specific functional alignment and compliance.
