• Test Engineer

Role Purpose

Prepare test cases and perform testing of products, platforms, and solutions for client deployment, ensuring 100% quality assurance parameters are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand test requirements and design test cases with knowledge of business and testable requirements
• Author test planning documentation
• Implement Wipro's model-based testing methodology for efficient test generation
• Conduct peer reviews of test cases to minimize rework
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and capture test cases with proper version control
• Define testing criteria, parameters, scope, and out-of-scope items; participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Automate test lifecycle processes using VB macros, scheduling, and GUI automation tools
• Design and execute automation frameworks with comprehensive reporting
• Develop and automate software validation tests by setting up test environments, designing test plans, and executing test cases and scenarios
• Document defects clearly with detailed descriptions and replication patterns
• Identify and report bugs with accurate defect reports and testing progress updates
• Deliver work items within Wipro and customer SLAs with no rejections or slippage
• Design and release test status dashboards at the end of each test execution cycle
• Provide feedback on usability and serviceability; trace results to quality risks and report to stakeholders
• Maintain ongoing status reporting and customer focus regarding testing execution
• Ensure professional communication with customers via email, phone, and business interactions
• Deliver on-time WSRs, test execution reports, and dashboard updates in test management systems
• Log accurate effort tracking in e Cube, TMS, and project trackers
• Respond promptly to customer requests with no internal or external complaints

• Error-free testing solutions with minimum process exceptions and 100% SLA compliance
• Testing efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery
• Troubleshoot queries within turnaround time
• Customer satisfaction scores
