Account Executive – Strategic Accounts

Role Overview
Manage and grow strategic accounts by directing organic growth strategy across your portfolio. You will be responsible for vision setting, annual account planning, identifying key growth opportunities, proactive client value creation, and ensuring the overall financial health of your accounts. Drive profitable growth by developing strategic client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction through world-class delivery, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor committed to the client's long-term success with Wipro.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and strengthen relationships with decision makers and influencers across the account, expanding beyond the CIO to become a trusted IT advisor and participate in strategic planning
- Build a trusted network of referable contacts who can advocate for Wipro, executing plans to develop allies and gain access to new contacts while maintaining balanced engagement across business, management, and operations
- Identify growth opportunities and lead account strategy and planning, driving penetration across business units while monitoring sales trends and market dynamics
- Mentor and nurture the next line of leadership within the account team while ensuring high customer satisfaction, loyalty, and quality experience
- Ensure cross-geographic synergies in project management and delivery execution by orchestrating internal resources and conducting regular delivery reviews to prevent cost and schedule overruns
- Monitor key metrics regularly and devise initiatives to achieve cost optimization and improve service standards, identifying weak areas and implementing corrective action plans
- Optimize resource utilization for effective implementation of development and delivery plans
- Showcase Wipro's solutions as a strategic fit for the customer organization through workshops, presentations, and executive meetings, advocating for higher-value services aligned with Wipro's offerings
Required Skills and Experience
- 15+ years of experience managing large accounts in IT professional services
- Experience with global service delivery models
- Strong background in Application Services, Engineering Services, and Infrastructure Services preferred
- Experience with Telecom and Manufacturing sector customers preferred
- Fluency in English; Dutch fluency is an advantage
- Excellent internal and client-facing communication skills across vertical and horizontal lines
- Proven experience managing $10M+ USD accounts and P&L portfolios
