Job Summary:

We are looking for a Pytest Automation Engineer with strong Python skills and hands-on experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks using Pytest. The role focuses on ensuring test coverage, reliability, and quality across web, API, and backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Pytest
• Write clean, scalable, and reusable test scripts in Python
• Automate API testing using REST-based services
• Perform UI automation using Selenium or similar tools
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze test results, identify failures, and work closely with developers to resolve issues
• Maintain test data, test environments, and automation documentation
• Continuously improve test coverage and execution efficiency

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Python and Pytest
• Good understanding of test automation concepts and best practices
• Hands-on experience with API automation (REST, JSON, HTTP methods)
• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, or similar UI automation tools
• Knowledge of Git and version control workflows
• Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments

Good to Have:

• Experience with test reporting tools (Allure, HTML reports)
• Experience with mocking and fixtures in Pytest
• Exposure to performance or load testing tools
• Experience with Docker or containerized test environments
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong debugging and analytical skills
• Good communication and collaboration abilities
