Role Purpose

Design, develop, and troubleshoot solutions, designs, models, and simulations on various software platforms according to client and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Development

• Work on CAD and CAE software to develop appropriate models aligned with project plans and customer requirements
• Test prototypes and designs, verifying boundary conditions including impact and stress analysis
• Create prototypes according to engineering drawings and CAD models
• Perform failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) for new client requirements
• Provide optimized solutions through virtual environment simulations
• Ensure software is updated with latest features to maintain cost-effectiveness
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement system enhancements
• Follow industry standard operating procedures throughout the modeling and solution development process

Customer Support and Problem Solving

• Resolve defects and integrate software components while addressing support tickets
• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems with minimum latency and maximum efficiency
• Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain compliance with project plans and industry standards

Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare weekly and monthly status reports according to client requirements
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of design changes and recommendations
• Track project timesheets
• Provide written knowledge transfer and project history documentation

Performance Metrics

• Design and develop solutions with adherence to project schedule, 100% error-free implementation, and measured throughput
• Quality and CSAT: On-time delivery, minimal corrections, first-time-right solutions, zero major post-production defects, 100% bi-directional traceability compliance, and completion of assigned skill-upgrade certifications
• MIS and Reporting: 100% on-time report generation
