• Defines end-to-end application architecture for SAP solutions, aligned with business strategy and enterprise standards.
• Produces reference architectures by leveraging expert input from application, platform, integration, data, and security engineering teams. These reference architectures form the foundation for new SAP solutions and programs.
• Drives Clean Core principles by clearly defining what belongs in SAP standard, in-app extensibility, and side-by-side extensions.
• Reviews and approves designs to reduce customization, technical debt, and long-term maintenance risk.
• Defines application-level standards for monitoring, logging, and observability to ensure reliable and supportable solutions.
• Evaluates and influences total cost of application ownership, including build, run, support, and upgrade costs.

Technical Proficiency

• Strong experience with SAP BTP SAP S/4HANA application and functional architecture across core business domains.
• Deep understanding of SAP extensibility options and Clean Core-aligned design patterns.
• Familiarity with application monitoring, observability, and operational readiness in SAP landscapes.
• Experience assessing custom code, enhancements, and workflows for simplification or retirement.
• Ability to design applications with long-term maintainability, performance, and upgradeability in mind.

Soft Skills

• Strong decision-making skills with the ability to balance speed, quality, and long-term cost.
• Clear communicator who can explain architecture choices, trade-offs, and cost impacts to stakeholders.
• Collaborative individual who brings together multiple engineering teams to shape shared solutions.
• Comfortable challenging designs constructively in ARB reviews
• Acts as a trusted advisor / partner to other IS&T Teams

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $230,000 .

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
