Role Purpose

Design, test, and maintain software programs for operating systems and applications deployed at client sites while ensuring 100% quality assurance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Analysis & Design

• Understand product and software requirements by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes
• Investigate problem areas throughout the software development lifecycle
• Conduct root cause analysis of system issues and problem statements
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance and availability
• Convert client requirements into feasible designs
• Collaborate with functional teams, systems analysts, and project managers to gather software capabilities and requirements

Software Development & Testing

• Evaluate operational feasibility of proposed solutions
• Develop and automate software validation processes by designing and executing test cases and scenarios
• Modify software to fix errors, improve performance, and upgrade interfaces
• Ensure code is error-free and bug-free with no test failures
• Raise all code changes according to project standards with clear descriptions and replication patterns
• Prepare comprehensive documentation and reports on project specifications, activities, and status
• Coordinate daily with the team on project status and progress
• Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, escalating quality risks to stakeholders

Customer Communication & Reporting

• Capture all client requirements and clarifications to ensure quality deliverables
• Gather regular feedback to ensure on-time, smooth delivery
• Participate in continuing education to stay current on best practices and new programming languages
• Document solutions through comprehensive documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, and clear code comments
• Maintain formal documentation from client proposal through implementation
• Ensure professional communication with customers via email, fault tracking, and calls
• Respond promptly to customer requests with zero complaints

Performance Metrics

• Continuous Integration & Deployment: 100% error-free onboarding and implementation, throughput percentage, schedule adherence
• Quality & Customer Satisfaction: On-time delivery, software management, query troubleshooting, customer experience, completion of assigned certifications
• Reporting: 100% on-time MIS and report generation
