Job Description

Role Purpose:

Design, develop, and troubleshoot solutions, designs, models, and simulations using various software platforms according to client and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities Design and Development

• Work with CAD and CAE software to develop models aligned with project plans and customer requirements
• Test prototypes and designs, validating boundary conditions including impact analysis and stress analysis
• Create prototypes based on engineering drawings and CAD models
• Perform failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) for new client requirements
• Provide optimized solutions through virtual environment simulations
• Ensure software is current with latest features for cost-effectiveness
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement system enhancements
• Follow industry standard operating procedures when modeling solutions

Customer Support and Problem Solving

• Address defects and resolve support tickets from clients and software integration teams
• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade systems with minimal latency and maximum efficiency
• Deploy programs and incorporate user feedback for customer satisfaction
• Maintain compliance with project plans and industry standards

Reporting and Documentation

• Generate weekly and monthly status reports per client requirements
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of design changes and recommendations
• Track and report timesheets
• Provide written knowledge transfer and project history

Performance Metrics

• Design and development: Adherence to schedule, error-free implementation, target throughput

• Quality and customer satisfaction: On-time delivery, minimal corrections, first-time accuracy, zero major defects, complete traceability compliance, completion of skill upgradation certifications

• Reporting: 100% on-time MIS and report generation
