Qlik Admin

Key Responsibilities:

• As a BI senior developer, you will be responsible for Architecting, designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Qlik (Admin & dev), Tableau or similar BI solutions.

• Collaborate with cross functional teams including customer success, Product and support to gather requirements and deliver tailored BI solutions.

• Assist with prioritization of bugs, feature work, and architectural enhancements. Provide technical expertise in areas of architecture, design, and implementation. Troubleshoot and remediate issues related to data integrity, visualization accuracy, and dashboard performance.

• Provide data driven recommendations to senior leadership to align customer success efforts with organizational objectives.

• Optimize data extracts and ensure efficient data retrieval and performance on Qlik dashboards. Maintain, test and schedule refresh of Qlik extracts. Devise process for trigger-based automation of Qlik extract refresh for large volumes (TB) of data.

• Establish automated processes for large scale data analysis and create metrics to support business strategies and Citi's regulatory commitments. Interpret complex data sets and transform them into visual stories that inform decision-making.

• Identify data patterns and trends to champion adoption and usage of risk analytics capabilities, by providing insights to enhance business decision making capability in business planning, process improvement, solution assessment etc.

• Fine tune SQL Queries for maximum efficiency and performance. Conduct unit tests and develop database queries to analyze the defects and troubleshoot any issues.

• Execute system integrations in both cloud-based and on-premises environments.

Knowledge and Experience:

• BS or MS degree in computer science, data science, finance, or mathematics with a minimum of 8 years of experience using BI tools with minimum 7 years on hands-on exposure in developing end-to-end solutions with Qlik Admin and Tableau for complex enterprise architecture.

• Solid Hands-on experience with Qlik Sense, Tableau or Similar BI solutions. Thorough knowledge of Qlik administration and architecture.

• Experience in writing complex SQL, Stored Procedures and SQL Query tuning. Clear understanding of query plan management. Experience with Data Lake, Snowflake and Starburst is highly preferred.

• Hands-on experience in relational database management application development. Strong experience in data mart / data warehouse design. Experience in timeseries or no SQL database is highly preferred.

• Experience with relational databases Oracle, SQL server, Sybase. Experience in managing unstructured data.

• A solid understanding of data modeling, normalization, and visualization. Experience with data integration and ETL processes is highly preferred.

• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills for large scale deployments

• Strong experience in financial sector, preferably banking industry.
