VLSI Verification Engineer

Role Purpose

Perform development of VLSI systems by defining various functionalities, architecture, layout, and implementation for clients.

Key Responsibilities

Verification and Module/IP Functionality

• Understand module and IP architecture; create verification environment and development plan using Universal Verification Methodology
• Develop test benches and write test case code for one or multiple modules
• Write and review code as required
• Execute test cases and debug as needed
• Conduct functional coverage analysis and document test cases, failures, and debugging procedures
• Run regression testing on entire IP functionality and complete documentation for client publication
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems with minimum latency and maximum efficiency
• Write scripts for the IP
• Comply with project plans and industry standards

Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare weekly and monthly status reports for clients
• Maintain document repository of all design changes and recommendations
• Maintain timesheets for clients
• Provide written knowledge transfer and project history

Experience: 3-5 years
