Job Description Key Responsibilities:

• Test Design & Execution: Create detailed test plans, scenarios, and scripts, particularly for complex, end-to-end batch processes.
• Data Validation: Run and validate batch jobs, DB2 queries, and file-to-file comparisons.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Quality Center, or similar.
• Environment Management: Utilize TSO/ISPF commands, manage datasets, and use File-AID for data manipulation.
• Analysis: Review COBOL/PL1 code, analyze JCL for failures (abends), and check spool logs for root cause analysis.

Required Technical Skills

• Core Mainframe: JCL (Job Control Language), COBOL, DB2, CICS, VSAM.
• Utilities & Debugging: File-AID, Expeditor, SPUFI, Change Man.
• Domain: Knowledge of banking, insurance, or retail systems is often preferred.
• Methodologies: Agile, DevOps (CI/CD pipelines), and risk-based testing.

Mandatory Skills: Mainframe .

Experience: 5-8 Years .

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
