Product Architect

Role Purpose

Create and engineer exceptional product architectural design for existing and new products while enabling delivery teams to provide exceptional client engagement and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Product Design & Engineering

• Define product requirements and design needs based on complete understanding of product vision and business requirements
• Develop architectural designs for new and existing products
• Implement derived solutions and debug critical problems during implementation
• Evangelize architecture to project and customer teams to achieve final solutions
• Continuously analyze, monitor, and improve product solutions to optimize cost and performance
• Create product-wide architectural designs ensuring systems are scalable, reliable, and compatible with different deployment options
• Develop theme-based Proof of Concepts (POCs) to demonstrate feasibility of product ideas
• Analyze, propose, and implement core technology strategy for product development
• Conduct impact analyses of changes and new requirements on product development efforts

Client Solutions & RFPs

• Provide solutioning for RFPs received from clients
• Ensure overall product design assurance according to business needs
• Collaborate with sales, development, and consulting teams to reconcile solutions with architecture
• Analyze technology environment, enterprise specifics, and client requirements to establish product solution design framework
• Provide technical leadership to design, development, and implementation of custom solutions
• Define current state product features and identify improvements, options, and tradeoffs for target state solutions
• Clearly articulate, document, and present architectural targets, recommendations, and reusable patterns
• Validate solutions and prototypes from technology, cost, and customer differentiation perspectives
• Identify problem areas and perform root cause analysis with relevant solutions

Deployment & Support

• Support delivery team during product deployment and resolve complex issues
• Develop product validation and performance testing plans aligned with business requirements
• Identify implementation risks and potential impacts
• Maintain product roadmap and provide timely inputs for product upgrades based on market needs

Competency Building & Thought Leadership

• Complete necessary trainings and certifications
• Develop POCs, case studies, and demos for new growth areas
• Develop and present Wipro's point of view through white papers and blogs
• Achieve market referencability through analyst rankings, client testimonials, and partner credits
• Serve as voice of Wipro's thought leadership in internal and external forums
• Mentor developers, designers, and junior architects
• Contribute to architecture practice through interview selection and team development
