DevOps Engineer

Role Purpose

Work with Application teams and developers to facilitate better coordination amongst operations, development, and testing functions by automating and streamlining the integration and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities

Dev

Ops Pipeline & Infrastructure:

• Align and focus on continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) of technology in applications
• Plan and execute the DevOps pipeline that supports the application life cycle across the DevOps toolchain—from planning, coding and building, testing, staging, release, configuration, and monitoring
• Manage IT infrastructure as per the requirements of supported software code
• On-board applications on DevOps tools and configure them per client needs
• Build and engineer DevOps tools per client customization requirements

Access & Security

• Create user access workflows and provide user access as per defined process

Development & Automation

• Collaborate with development staff on coding and scripting needed to connect code elements required to run software releases with operating systems and production infrastructure
• Leverage tools to automate testing and deployment in a DevOps environment

Customer Support

• Provide timely support to internal and external customers on multiple platforms
• Resolve tickets within specified TAT
• Ensure adequate resolution with customer satisfaction
• Follow escalation processes when resolution becomes complicated
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of critical or repeatable issues

Requirements

Experience: 5-8 years

Mandatory Skills: Red Hat Ansible
