ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Full support on automation and digitalization project - Participate in FP&A transformation initiative - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions - Monitor automated processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvements. - Track, monitor, analyse, and control department budget - Prepare a monthly financial analysis of actual against budget - Ensure accurate and timely reporting of cost centres and management reports - Consolidate spending at the divisional level and perform a detailed analysis of costs on the product level - Recommends actions by analysing data and making comparative analyses - Involve and focus heavily on budgetary control, financial analysis, and management reports - Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data, and maintains the database by entering, verifying, and backing up data - Prepare various reports and charts, and the Operation Review when necessary - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and systems - Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to improve financial performance - Support internal and external audit processes by preparing required documentation and analyses - Involved in capital tracking and depreciation forecast - Participate in ad-hoc projects and reports as assigned by the immediate supervisor from time to time - Ensure meeting company and departmental compliance to applicable legal and IMS requirements - Responsible for the health and safety of the individual at the workplace - Ensure departmental compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, and ISO22301 standards ## Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance or Business Administration, preferably a member of a professional body - Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in the management reporting, cost accounting, budgetary control in a fast-paced manufacturing environment PREFERRED: - Able to work independently as well as a team member - Able to manage routine workload and ad-hoc projects with minimal supervision - Preferably good exposure to ERP accounting system - Demonstrated experience with capital budget, accounting, financial analysis and reporting SKILLS - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders - Strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills - Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI is an added advantage - Flexible – ability to quickly react to changing business needs - Problem solving skills – motivated to take challenges with minimal supervision - Positive attitude and ability to act as team player ## Additional Information WD thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
