ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Conduct comprehensive lab tests of failed HDDs to obtain required data for electrical failure analysis - Collaborate with senior engineers to summarize test data and develop failure analysis conclusions - Perform signal analysis and magnetic analysis on failed HDDs to identify root causes of errors - Document findings, observations, and test results in detailed technical reports - Assist in FA Lab operation related to analysis tasks. - Maintain accurate and organized records of all test data, experimental results, and analysis findings - Utilize laboratory equipment and testing tools under senior engineer supervision to conduct diagnostics and measurements This position is part of our Early Career program at WD.
