ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible to manage security operations. Customers may be diverse including WD employees, executives, tenants, vendors, alliance partners, etc.
• Operations may include: Physical Security Leader
• Emergency Execution Leader
• Security Projects / Development
• Responsible for implementation of sub-processes as required in security manual & applicable corporate instructions.
• Manage other managers or exempt professionals with full responsibility for all personnel matters and responsible to oversee contractors/vendors. Oversee and/or direct activities of site ops employee(s) / Contractor responsible for security at designated location(s).
• Provides leadership and guidance to staff to ensure business objectives and customer requirements are met.
• Frequent interaction with functional management, executives, law enforcement agencies, suppliers, etc.
• Proactively identify security good practice, gaps, vulnerabilities and look to drive improvement across all areas of global and local security delivery, related capital projects, our supported events and requests from other business units.
• Coordinates crisis management activity for Sr. Location Executive.
• Supports emergency response operations for the site.
• Provides advice & counsel and education to site management/employees.
• Control/plan security budget and spending.
• Other tasks as assigned by Security Manager

REQUIRED:

• B.A in Political Sciences or related fields
• 5 - 8 years. in Security organization or related in manufacturing fields.
• Investigative experience and experience of developing and delivering training and awareness.

PREFERRED:

• Diverse experience / background across product lines, business disciplines, marketplace and geographies
• Desirable: Background in criminal justice / business administration / information technology
