About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced and strategic Agile Product Development Director to lead the originations product areas for our Credit Card and Personal Loans team. This leadership role is responsible for shaping the strategy for the originations products, driving agile delivery, and ensuring our originations platforms and processes enable a seamless, customer-centric experience while meeting regulatory and business objectives.
In this role, you will:

Oversee two agile product teams, empowering product owners to deliver high-quality features and enhancements in frequent, iterative cycles.

Collaborate with executives, business, technology, operations, risk, compliance, marketing, and analytics partners to prioritize and execute initiatives.

Drive the end-to-end delivery of originations capabilities, including customer acquisition, application processing, underwriting, and onboarding, leveraging digital and data-driven solutions.

Communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for originations products within the credit card and personal loans businesses. Align with cross-functional stakeholders on business goals and customer needs.

Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and process optimization. Leverage customer feedback, user research, and analytics to inform product decisions and enhance the originations experience.

Ensure all product initiatives comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and risk management frameworks.

Mentor and develop product managers and agile practitioners, building a high-performing, collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications:
-
8+ years of digital product management or leadership experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

4+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
-
8+ years of product management experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role overseeing agile product teams in financial services, preferably in consumer lending, credit cards, or personal loans.

Deep expertise in agile methodologies and proven execution track record.

Strong understanding of originations platforms, customer journeys, and regulatory environment within the banking sector.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence at all organizational levels.

Strong track record mentoring and developing talent.

Analytical, data-driven decision maker with a passion for delivering innovative, customer-focused solutions.
-
Experience working in a highly regulated environment and managing risk, compliance, and audit requirements.
Job Expectations:

30% of travel expected
